Either electric, electronic or acoustic, the avant-garde of world music has, in Les Suds,à Arles, a stage up to its standards: the « Nuits des Forges ». Established at the foot of the tower’s building site designed by Frank Gehry for the LUMA Foundation in Arles, in the heart of a finely restored industrial wasteland, this stage welcomes the most innovative creation.

Pioneers of underground music, this bond confronts its noisy-punk music to its appetite for journey. In 38 years of musical activism, they have taken part in all engagements (Salvador, South Africa, Palestine...) and have multiplied their musical meetings: from Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies) to Getatchew Mekurya (Ethiopia), Roy Paci (Italy), or of course King Ayisoba! After 2000 concerts all around the world, these musicians will share here their legendary intensity...
