MICFLOW
Micflow is a Human Beatbox activist, a several-time champion of France (in 2006, 2007 and 2008), then World Champion (in 2009). He tours internationally, as a duet with Pure Human Music or with Under Kontrol collective, of which he is one of the founding members. Together they have worked with artists like Laurent Garnier, Archie Shepp, Rockin Squat, Nine Spirit Company or the famous American drummer, Bernard "Pretty" Purdie. In solo, Micflow is requested to work on creations mixing contemporary dance, puppet, rap or blues. At the same time, he likes to develop the pedagogical dimension of this discipline for disabled audiences or for professional training.
BEATBOX
With your voice as only instrument, let yourself be carried away by music and improvisation. Brass, percussion, bass, harmonies, scratch... by learning vocal techniques from the beatbox, placement, by listening, by playing together, experience the many sounds of your own mouth!
This course is open to everybody wishing to get initiated, to improve or to add this rope to their vocal arc.
