Soirée Suds - Théâtre Antique

Magnificently restored, a beauty and an amazing acoustic, the Théâtre Antique shelters 2000 seats and 500 seats in the orchestra pit to dance under the stars, or to settle the closest way possible to the artists. Each Soirée Suds offers two concerts that are sublimated by the magic that the site releases... with internationally renowned musical formations, or ones that France and Europe are discovering.

IBRAHIM MAALOUF & HAÏDOUTI ORKESTAR (LIBAN/BALKANS/FRANCE) / 90 min

Tuesday 9th of July at 9:30 p.m.

As prolific as he is ecletic, the Franco-Libanian trumpeter invites a 17 musician brass band to join him on stage for a big gypsy party. Between oriental melodies and Balkan whirpools, the unique quarter tone trumpet sound, the brass and percussions, the singing and accordion compete with virtuosity... A flaming sound journey!

After collaborating with Matthieu Chedid, Melody Gardot, Dupain, Grand Corps Malade, Piers Faccini, Vincent Segal or then again Natacha Atlas... amongst others, he finds his accomplices of the O.S.T created in 2016 for the movie ”La Vache”, with Jamel Debbouze and Lambert Wilson.
