DANIEL MILLE
Trained in the French National Music Academy as well as in « Normale » Music Teacher training School of Paris, Daniel Mille, musician and composer is open to all musical trends, and has accompanied artists as different as Jacques Higelin, Salif Keïta, Claude Nougaro, Lokua Kanza, Nina Hagen or Dorsaf Hamdani. Very quickly recognized as a soloist, he has won an award in « Les Victoires du Jazz » as Best Performer, with this accordion that he had not chosen, and that his father had made him play in the family orchestra... If a master class with Richard Galliano - who loves the beauty of his sonority – made him like the accordion, it is only later that he took pleasure in accompanying the words sung by Barbara, or the poetry on the voice of Jean-Louis Trintignant. He has already directed a master class during the 21st edition of the Festival, when he was highly appreciated for his pedagogical skills.

ACCORDION
At the same time composer and performer, it is precisely on the interpretation skills that this delicate artist wishes to sensitize the participants. It will be less technical than about enabling everyone to develop their musical language, in order to put all the possibilities of the instrument in the service of music. Improvisation will also be taken up in small groups and individually, while adapting to everybody’s needs and wishes.
